In partnership with

November is here, and the holidays are sneaking up fast! I’ve already started looking at some festive finds, and figured I’d start November with a holiday-themed review which includes one of the strangest wrapping paper sets I’ve ever tested. This week’s video might just inspire your next gift-wrapping session (or at least make you laugh). I’ve also included a quick household tip to get you ahead of the holiday rush, a few good deals worth checking out, and a throwback from my archives.

Wrapping Paper That Turns Gifts Into a BURGER?!

If anything… it’s unique!

This week I tested out one of the strangest and most creative holiday wrapping products I’ve ever seen, a wrapping paper set that forms a hamburger when you stack all six wrapped gifts together. It’s as ridiculous as it is awesome.

To go along with it, I also tried a pair of scissors from Temu with a built-in tape dispenser. Sounds like a good idea, right? Well…

If you’re curious how these items work, you can watch the full review at the link below.

Home insurance premiums are up by 9% this year

Home insurance costs continue to climb, with premiums rising over 9% this year and more than 60% in the past five years. However, coverage hasn’t kept pace, leaving many homeowners paying significantly more for less protection. With affordability becoming a growing concern, it’s more important than ever to compare options—check out Money’s handy home insurance tool to find the best fit for you.

DEALS 🏷️
Kitchen Aid Chopper: 36% Off

I love a good food chopper, and this one from KitchenAid has excellent reviews among almost 30,000 ratings on Amazon. My tracker shows it usually sells between $55–$65, so the current $45 price is a genuine deal. Anytime KitchenAid is marked down, it’s worth a look.

Bose Open Earbuds: 33% Off
Open-ear buds have become increasingly popular for letting you listen privately without tuning out the world. This Bose pair normally sells around $300, so at about $200, it’s a solid discount on a premium option.

Telescope: 50% Off
A true half-off sale! This model hasn’t dipped below $130 in months, and it’s currently going for $65. It’s a great gift idea for a budding astronomer or anyone curious about stargazing.

Freeze Cookie Dough Now, Bake Fresh Later
Most cookie dough can be frozen for at least 2–3 months, so why not start on your holiday baking now? Scoop portions onto a tray, freeze them solid, then bag them up. When you need them in December, you can bake from frozen by just adding 1–2 minutes to the bake time. It’s one of the easiest ways to get into that festive spirit before Thanksgiving even arrives.

Clear Zone (2017)

How good is an As Seen on TV blind spot mirror?

I had to dig all the way back to 2017 to find the last (and only) time I posted a video on November 4. It was the Clear Zone, an As Seen on TV blind spot mirror that had just launched back then. I don’t think it’s still around today, but it’s always interesting to revisit those old products and see how they held up, especially the ones that didn’t stand the test of time.

Everything Pumpkin Spice

Evaluating the pumpkin spice bandwagon!

I recently posted my latest Freakin’ 2 video, where I tested and ranked 10 pumpkin spice products from major brands. There were some real surprises, and one big disappointment. If you’ve been staring at the wall of pumpkin spice items at your local store, this taste test might help you pick out some of the better ones!

📺 My Top 10 for November 2025 has been updated! This playlist highlights the most popular videos on Freakin’ Reviews over the past 4 weeks. My review of the Flipwrap continues to dominate the chart, while a 4-year-old popcorn review re-entered the Top 10 out of nowhere! Check out the full playlist to see if there’s a gem you missed, or a video worth rewatching!

SHORT SPOTLIGHT 🎥
World’s Smallest Blender

In today’s Short Spotlight, I recently posted my 38-second short version of my review of the so-called World’s Smallest Blender. Can it make chocolate milk? How much can it actually make?

Take a look at this bite-sized version of my review, or check out the entire review here.

That’s about it for this week! Even though my posting schedule has been a bit lean recently, I have a ton of new stuff in the pipeline, so things should pick up for me over the next 6-8 weeks. If you’ve tried any of the items mentioned in this email, let me know what you think! I always enjoy hearing your takes.

Until next time,
