It’s been a pretty wild summer for many of us, with extreme heat and smoke from wildfires keeping people indoors. Since you may be spending a little more time inside, it’s the perfect opportunity to catch up on my latest videos from Freakin’ Reviews and Freakin’ 2! I’ve also rounded up some fresh Amazon deals, along with a kitchen gadget review you probably haven’t seen before.

It’s time once again to revisit 10 past videos and find out what happened to the products featured in them. For Update 66, I’m looking back at May and June 2025 to see where everything ended up: still in use, in the donation pile, or banished to The Boneyard. Highlights include some fun in the dog pool and a blender I never expected to keep using.

With much of the country dealing with smoke from fires up north, a lot of people are giving air purifiers a second look. There are a lot of models on sale, but this one has not only high ratings among a good-sized sampling of consumers, but Amazon notes that customers usually keep this one.

In today’s update video (above) I showed how the dog pool I used last year has held up and still works. That same model is currently on sale for less than I bought it a year ago. It’s not just for dogs, though. It’s a great size for kids or even adults - like me!

Even the most adoring cat owners will admit that the litter box is one of the few downsides to having a feline friend. This stainless steel model has notable upgrades including a large size, stepping pad, plastic litter catcher, and more odor control than its plastic counterparts.

It was 5 years ago today that I tested out a batch of car gadgets, from a “vinyl” air freshener to a trash can and tire inflator. Perhaps surprisingly, the car dash pads are still in use to this day!
