Testing Temu’s Best Sellers & Post Malone’s Oreos!

Welcome back to another newsletter! This week I’ve got two new videos, a look back at a viral juicer from two years ago, some shopping tips, and a few great deals on products I’ve tested and actually recommend.

First up, I put Temu’s “Best Sellers” to the test. Do they live up to the hype, or are they just cheap gimmicks? Then, over on Freakin’ 2, I reviewed Post Malone’s new Oreo flavor and Coca-Cola’s latest Orange Cream soda to see if they’re worth picking up. Strange Temu Best Sellers!

This time, I’m testing four “best-selling” gadgets from Temu to see if they’re actually worth the hype, or if they belong in the junk drawer. Are these must-have finds or just another online shopping gimmick? I wanted to find out for myself!

🛒 Temu’s “Best Sellers” Tested: A toothpaste cap that promises a mess-free experience, a retro phone handset straight out of the past, a rechargeable bottle lamp that might set the mood, and some “crazy” blinking glasses - because why not? But do they work, or are they total duds? 😬

I put them through the wringer, testing durability, functionality, and whether they live up to their bold claims. Are these hidden gems or total flops?

New Food Review is Live! 🍪🥤

This week, I’m testing two new flavors, but will they live up to the hype? First up, the Post Malone Oreos, featuring a swirled salted caramel and shortbread cream filling. Then, I dive into Coca-Cola’s new Orange Cream flavor, available in both regular and Zero Sugar versions. Does it actually taste like an orange creamsicle, or is it just another gimmicky soda? 🤔

🎸 Post Malone Oreos: These cookies have a strong, fresh-baked aroma and a surprising twist of flavors. But are they the best new Oreo flavor yet? I put them to the ultimate taste test (and Bailey tried to get in on the action too!).

🥤 Orange Cream Coca-Cola: I compare it side-by-side with classic Coke, a real creamsicle, and even an Orange Cream Coke float to see how it stacks up. Spoiler: I have some thoughts on this one.

Juice Vortex (2023)

Two years ago today, I reviewed a gadget that was all over social media—the Juice Vortex, a $60 portable, rechargeable juicer that claimed to handle a variety of fruits with ease. 🍎🍓🍋

I put it through the wringer with oranges, grapes, apples, lemons, and strawberries, testing whether it could actually deliver fresh juice on the go. Despite its small capacity, this was one of the rare cases where a product actually lived up to the hype. Shocking, right? 😲

Three Tips for Wiser Shopping

Clear Your Cookies Before Shopping. Some retailers track your visits and may show higher prices if they detect repeated interest in an item. Try clearing cookies or using incognito mode for fresh pricing.

Check Restock Patterns for Sold-Out Items. Many retailers restock popular products at specific times of day. Checking early in the morning or late at night can increase your chances of grabbing a hard-to-find item. You can even call a store and ask them about the timing of certain items.

Buy Seasonal Items Off-Season. Need winter gear? Buy it in spring. Looking for summer essentials? Shop in the fall. Retailers discount seasonal items when demand drops.
