New Video Alert: Shark’s $250 Misting Fan Put to the Test

I took the Shark FlexBreeze Pro Mist into the Vegas sun and the results surprised me.

📬 Welcome Back!

It’s heating up fast here in Vegas, which makes it the perfect time to test out a heavy-duty misting fan, and that’s exactly what I did this week. I’ve also got a fan-favorite video resurfacing on Facebook, a nostalgic look back at some kitchen gadgets from last year, a pet-friendly household tip, and a few solid deals worth checking out. Let’s jump in.

NEW VIDEO ALERT 📽️
Getting SOAKED with a $250 Misting Fan!

Would you pay $250 for a misting fan?

It's already heating up here in Vegas, so I figured now’s the perfect time to put a heavy-duty fan to the test, and I found one that does way more than just blow air. This week, I reviewed the Shark FlexBreeze Pro Mist Fan, which promises quiet operation, a 70-foot range, 24-hour battery life, and even a misting feature that almost made me cold in 91° sun.

This fan can be used indoors or out, as a tabletop or pedestal, corded or cordless. Sounds impressive, but is it worth the hefty $250 price tag?

I walk through everything: the setup, fan speed tests, how far the mist actually reaches, and yes… how wet it really gets. (Spoiler: I couldn’t see through my glasses.)

DEALS 🏷️
🧲Magnetic Screen Door: 25% Off

If you remember the old Magic Mesh from the As Seen on TV era, you might also remember how flimsy it was. Weak magnets and cheap materials gave it a bad name, but the idea was solid. Fast forward to today, and we’ve got much better versions like this #1 Best Seller on Amazon, which is currently 25% off. If you gave up on the idea back then, this might be the second chance it deserves.

🐾 Hallway Runners – 20% Off
Not the flashiest item, but one I personally use. As Bailey’s gotten older, I’ve laid these runners down to help her navigate my tile floors without slipping. They grip well, hold up nicely, and at 20% off, it’s a practical pick, especially if you’ve got pets or mobility concerns.

🚿 Metal Hose – 28% Off
I’ve tested a bunch of metal hoses over the years, and even one of the discontinued ones I reviewed still works! This model has a ton of positive reviews, and at $34 for the 50-foot version, it’s a solid deal for something that’s durable and won’t kink like the old-school rubber ones.

Use a Squeegee to Remove Pet Hair from Carpet
If you've got pets (like my Bailey or Elle), you know how stubborn hair can get in carpets and rugs. A simple rubber squeegee, like the kind you'd use on windows, can actually pull up embedded pet hair better than most vacuums. Just drag it across the carpet and watch clumps of hair come up like magic. It’s oddly satisfying… and a bit gross.

Useful Kitchen Gadgets (2024)

How useful were these kitchen gadgets?

Exactly one year ago today, I tested out a trio of kitchen gadgets that turned out to be surprisingly useful. The lineup included the Burger Master, which presses out uniform hex-shaped burger patties, Souper Cubes, perfect for freezing individual portions of soup or sauce, and a cauliflower ricer that got quite the reaction.

If you missed this one when it first dropped, now’s the perfect time to check it out again, especially if your kitchen needs a little gadget refresh.

Not all gadgets have to be elaborate!

If Facebook is where you catch most of my content, here’s one that’s been picking up steam lately. It’s a 2023 roundup of three clever kitchen gadgets: a pan holder to keep lids in place, a spinning flower steam releaser that’s both fun and functional, and a hands-free pouring tool that acts like an extra set of hands when you're cooking solo.

If you missed it the first time around, now’s your chance to see why this one's making the rounds again.
