New Video: A Robot Art Teacher?
A creative mix of tech, color, and a look back at last year’s breakfast gadgets.

I’m back with another brand-new video, and this one’s all about creativity! I tested a robot that can actually draw, and can supposedly teach you to draw, too. It’s one of the more unique gadgets I’ve seen in a while. To round out the theme, I also tried some colorful rainbow pencils and a grip trainer designed to help kids learn how to hold a pencil properly.
I’ve also rounded up a few good deals this week, including a Belgian waffle maker, a pre-lit Christmas tree, and a 32-inch TV that’s shockingly affordable. Plus, we’ll take a look back at a breakfast-themed review from this week last year.
NEW VIDEO ALERT 📽️
Robot Art Instructor?
In today’s video, I’m testing out one of the most unusual gadgets I’ve reviewed in a while, a drawing robot that can actually draw pictures and teach you to draw along with it. It’s marketed as an educational toy for kids, but I have to admit that I was fascinated watching it sketch out a strawberry, a mantis, a frog, and more.
To go along with the theme, I also tried out two bonus art-related products:
✏️ Rainbow Pencils: Multicolored leads that change hue as you draw (pretty fun for doodling).
🖊️ Grip Correctors: Little silicone sleeves that are supposed to teach kids how to hold a pencil properly.
The robot was the star of the show, the pencils were surprisingly fun, but I’m still on the fence about the grip trainers.
DEALS 🏷️
Bella Belgian Waffle Maker: 33% Off

I’ve always liked the Bella brand for blending budget pricing with good looks. This “Flip-n-Store” Belgian waffle maker is on sale for just under $20, down from its usual $30 price tag. It’s a simple, stylish way to upgrade your breakfast routine without breaking the bank.
National Tree Company Artificial Fir: 56% Off
If you’re shopping for an artificial tree before the holidays, this pre-lit fir from National Tree Company is worth a look. It normally sells between $130–$190, but right now it’s about $75. A nice choice if you want a modest, ready-to-go tree with built-in lights.
Insignia 32” TV: 42% Off
We were just talking on my Discord about how inexpensive TVs have become, and here’s proof. This 32-inch Insignia TV is currently $75, marked down from $130, the lowest price my tracker has shown in months. Whether it’s for your bedroom, kitchen, or as a gift, this one’s a solid buy.

Breakfast Gadgets (2024)
Exactly one year ago this week, I reviewed two breakfast-themed gadgets: a bubble waffle maker and a pour-over coffee maker. Both worked as advertised, though I can’t say either has seen much action in my kitchen since. Still, they were fun to test and make for an interesting throwback to revisit.

SHORT SPOTLIGHT 🎥
Rollova Digital Tape Measure
![]() | In today’s Short Spotlight, we have a short edit of my 2020 review of the Rollova digital tape measure. Because that review is now 5 years old, I thought a quick peek via Shorts might give some of my newer viewers a glimpse at my earlier reviews. If you’d like to see the full review, you can check that out here. (By the way, is it just me, or was my voice higher only five years ago? Hmm..) |
We’re deep into November now, which means the holiday rush is right around the corner. I’m already seeing “Black Friday” sales everywhere, even though that is still weeks away. I’ve got several more reviews in the works before the year wraps up, including some fun and unusual products that should make for great gift ideas.
I hope you enjoy today’s video and the remaining hours of your weekend!
Until next time,
James
