For today’s review, I tested out Amazon’s #1 Best Selling portable dryer to see if it really works. I also tossed in a couple of bonus gadget reviews at the end.

This week I put Amazon’s #1 best-selling portable dryer to the test. I didn’t just toss in one shirt and call it a day either. I tried small loads, heavier clothes like jeans and a hoodie, a full nine-shirt stress test, and even compared it to hanging shirts in the bathroom and outside on the patio.

Some of the results genuinely surprised me.

After that, I tested two bonus gadgets:

One of these completely exceeded my expectations. The other… not so much.

As you may know, I’ve reviewed dozens of pillows over the years, and I realize how subjective pillow satisfaction can be. I’ve cleaned my share of litter boxes, and I know how unpleasant that chore can be. This automatic litter box promises to minimize the displeasure by offering a self-cleaning function for medium sized cats and kittens. It usually runs about $200, but is currently selling for $150.

If your clothes are taking forever to dry, here’s a simple trick that actually works.

When you move wet clothes from the washer to the dryer, toss in one clean, dry bath towel with the load for the first 10–15 minutes. The towel absorbs a lot of the excess surface moisture early on, which helps the rest of the clothes dry faster.

After about 15 minutes, pull the towel out and let the rest of the load finish drying normally.

Don’t leave the towel in for the entire cycle. Once it gets damp, it stops helping and can actually slow things down.

It’s a small tweak, but over time it can shave minutes off each load and reduce overall dryer time.
