New Video Alert: $30 Gadget Turns Your Skillet Into a Steamer?
Plus: A sunglasses throwback, surprising deals, and one overpriced popcorn maker.

I hope you're having a great weekend! This week I tested out a strange little gadget called the Pacuzzi, which claims to turn any skillet into a steamer. It’s one of those products that made me raise an eyebrow... but I had to find out if it actually worked. Spoiler: the results were… interesting.
Along with that, I’ve got a few deals (including one rare repeat), a flashback to a sunglasses showdown from two years ago, and a Short Spotlight on a $200 popcorn maker that left me scratching my head.
Let’s jump in—
NEW VIDEO ALERT 📽️
Pacuzzi: Turn a Skillet into a Steamer?
My latest video is live, and this time I’m testing a strange little gadget called the Pacuzzi, which claims to turn any skillet into a steamer.
Does it actually work, or is it just a $30 piece of silicone taking up space in your drawer?
Here’s what I tested:
🍕 Reheating Pizza: Can the Pacuzzi really "rehydrate" a slice better than a regular skillet?
🧀 Grilled Cheese: I tried an open-faced sandwich just like they show in one of their YouTube videos. Did it make any difference?
🥦 Fresh Broccoli: Steamed in a pan? What could go wrong?
🍗 Leftover Nuggets & Fries: I gave McDonald’s leftovers one more chance at greatness. Did the Pacuzzi improve results over just using a regular pan?
Click below to see the full review and find out if the Pacuzzi is a hidden gem… or a steamy disappointment.

DEALS 🏷️
🖨️ Supvan Label Maker: 43% Off
I don’t usually repeat products in this “Deals” section, but sometimes a deal is just too good to ignore. This little gadget surprised me. I didn’t think much of it when I first reviewed it, but now I use it constantly, especially to keep my electronics and ever-growing product inventory organized. At 43% off, it’s a no-brainer.
🪰 Automatic Fly Swatter – 50% Off
I normally avoid recommending products I haven’t fully tested, but this one’s an exception. I picked it up last year to review but couldn’t lure in enough flies for a proper demo. That said, I’ve heard from viewers who swear by it for keeping flies at bay outdoors, and at 50% off, it’s worth a mention.
🔥 Maconee Microwave Grill – 15% Off
If you’ve been a subscriber for a while, you might remember how much I loved the Rangemate Pro microwave grill way back in 2018. I used it multiple times a week until the coating gave out. I’ve never found a proper replacement, until now. The Maconee grill looks like a worthy successor, and now at $42, it’s roughly half what I paid for the Rangemate back in the day. (You can watch my original Rangemate review here if you're curious.)
Make your own fruit fly trap.
Fill a small bowl with apple cider vinegar and a drop of dish soap. Cover with plastic wrap and poke tiny holes on top.

Unusual Sunglasses (2023)
Exactly two years ago today, I tested out three unique sunglasses that were popping up in ads all over the place.
🧲 Kore Sunglasses had a magnetic feature to keep them attached to your shirt.
🔁 Peeq Sunglasses flipped the script- literally - with a bizarre reversible design.
🪢 Ombraz Sunglasses went retro with no arms at all, just a string strap around your head.
With spring sunshine just around the corner, it might be time to give these wild designs a second look.
📺 March Giveaway Last Chance! March 2025 is quickly winding down and there’s still about a day and a half left to enter my monthly giveaway, if you haven’t already. This month’s giveaway is for a nice 7-Speed KitchenAid hand mixer. This retails for about $90! If you haven’t entered yet, click here to jump in!
SMART SHOPPING 🛒
Three Tips for Wiser Shopping
Buy Holiday Decor Out of Season: Get Christmas decorations in January, Halloween items in November, and patio furniture in the fall for deep discounts. It’s not as exciting to buy after the fact, but you’ll thank yourself next season!
Wait for ‘Second Wave’ Discounts After Big Sales: Many retailers cut prices further a week or two after major sales like Black Friday, especially on remaining inventory.
Purchase Off-Season Clothing: Buy winter coats in spring and swimsuits in fall—prices drop dramatically once the season ends.
SHORT SPOTLIGHT 🎥
🍿Popsmith
![]() | Today’s Short Spotlight features the bite-sized version of my Popsmith review from January. While I thought the $200 price tag was pretty outrageous, I focused more on how the unit actually works in the short, saving the price talk for the full video. If you want to check out the full review, you can see that here. |
