New Video: Personal Care Gadgets!

These three personal care gadgets all have multiple functions... but do they work?

This week it’s all about personal care. I have a video dropping today in which I look at three personal care products, and I spent the week testing them out. I’ve also been vlogging at a feverish pace and have several new vlogs over on F2. I’ve also got fresh deals and more, so let’s dive in.

NEW VIDEO ALERT 📽️
Multi-Function Personal Care Gadgets

Not all functions are created equal.

Today’s video calls back two genres of products I’ve tested in the past: trimmers & massagers. This set of products contains two massagers and one trimmer in a collection of personal care gadgets, each with two functions. Oddly, I found each product had one function that worked better than the other. In the end, they all worked to some extent, but not all of them I’d recommend. Click the link below to see how my tests went!

DEALS 🏷️
Logitech Wireless Keyboard: 29% Off

This keyboard is designed for use with TVs, tablets, laptops, and more. I have an older, more primitive version, that I’ve used for years, but this model has far more bells and whistles - and costs the same as the model I bought years ago with its current sale price.

Neewer Tripod: 29% Off

This may be a bit niche, but I ran across this Neewer tripod that looked like a good deal. Usually running about $70, it’s currently on sale for about $50. It can be adjusted from 23” all the way up to 6 feet. If you are in the market for a tripod, this might be one to consider.

ChomChom Roller: 41% Off

It’s my favorite combination on Amazon: A #1 Best Seller that’s also at the bottom of it’s price range. You can pick up this pet hair roller with an incredible 200,000 ratings, for only about $15.

Personal Care Tip

If you ever deal with stiff hands, neck tension, or general muscle tightness, try applying gentle heat for 10–15 minutes before you stretch, not after. Warming the area first helps increase blood flow and elasticity, which can make light stretching more comfortable and effective. Stretching cold, tight muscles often feels harder and can even make soreness linger longer. It’s a small timing change, but it can make a noticeable difference.

ON THIS DATE 🗓️
Bizarre Candle Scents (2025)

These candles were bizarre and nostalgic.

It was one year ago this week that I tested out an interesting collection of strange candle scents, including the one in the photo above, which actually smells like a retro video store. I’ve ordered more from this company over the past year as well. If you love the smell of nostalgia, this video is for you.

FREAKIN’ 2
Newest Vlogs!

The day started shaky but got better!

I’ve posted five vlogs over on Freakin’ 2 since the year began, so if you enjoyed those on Freakin’ Reviews last year, be sure to check out my vlogs on their new home at F2. I have my usual blend of dog life, behind the scenes footage, and humorous rants about everything from Paul Stanley of KISS to Leave it to Beaver.

SHORT SPOTLIGHT 🎥
Nicer Slicer

Today’s Short Spotlight is all about bread. It’s a short edit of my 2022 review of the Nicer Slicer. This gadget is designed to hold a slice of bread so you can cut it even thinner. Not everyone thinks it’s necessary, but it does have its fans, too. Check out my short edit here, or the full review here if you missed it the first time around.

Well that’s it for today. I hope you enjoy today’s review of personal care gadgets and maybe check out a vlog or two from this week. As the year begins anew, I’d like to take a moment once again to thank you for watching, liking, commenting, subscribing, and being a part of this newsletter. Your participation means more to me than I can adequately describe!

Until next time,
James
