New Video: Microwave Gadgets That Work!

I put three microwave gadgets to the test, plus a bonus gadget at the end!

This week I have a collection of gadgets that is a sort of follow-up to a video I did back in 2021, in which I tested several microwave gadgets. This week I tested a new set of microwave gadgets for dinner, dessert, and snack time. I’ve also got more vlogs on F2 and fresh deals from Amazon, so let’s dive right in!

Microwave Gadgets

Testing out microwave gadgets!

I just wrapped up a new review in which I test three microwave gadgets designed to make meals, snacks, and desserts faster and easier, plus a bonus item at the end that isn’t a microwave gadget but I wanted to try out.

In this video, I put a microwave rice cooker, single-serve popcorn makers, and a (now almost vintage) Rapid Brownie Baker through real-world tests to see if they actually work or just sound good on the box.

Newsletter subscribers get early access to the video a couple hours before it goes public. Watch it here, and as always, let me know what you think.

Easy setup, easy money

Making money from your content shouldn’t be complicated. With Google AdSense, it isn’t.

Automatic ad placement and optimization ensure the highest-paying, most relevant ads appear on your site. And it literally takes just seconds to set up.

That’s why WikiHow, the world’s most popular how-to site, keeps it simple with Google AdSense: “All you do is drop a little code on your website and Google AdSense immediately starts working.”

The TL;DR? You focus on creating. Google AdSense handles the rest.

DEALS 🏷️
Anker Charging Station: 45% Off

Our daily lives depend largely on access to power, and this Anker 6-in-1 charging station makes that much more convenient. This 140W strip offers a detachable extension cord and 6 ports. The usual price is $80-$110, so the current price of $60 makes it a solid deal.

Dezin Hot Pot: 35% Off

You may recall my review of this electric hot pot, which I’ve recommended in the past. It’s currently marked down to the lowest end of its usual range at around $30. I’m a fan of this cooking pot because it only requires electricity - no kitchen needed. It may be a niche use, but numerous viewers have told me they found it useful.

Android Air Tracker: 63% Off

Although I use an iPhone, I interact with enough Android users to know a good deal when I see one. This set of 4 trackers is marked way down to $30 from its usual price of $80. I have trackers on all sorts of things around my home, so if you’re an Android user and haven’t made the plunge into trackers, this might be a safe bet.

Microwave Tip: Revive Stale Bread (Not Soggy Bread)

If bread, rolls, or pizza slices have gone a little stale, you can bring them back to life in the microwave without turning them rubbery.

Lightly dampen a paper towel, wrap it loosely around the bread, and microwave in 10–15 second bursts. Stop as soon as it feels warm and soft, and don’t overdo it! The moisture rehydrates the bread while the short bursts prevent it from turning chewy.

This works especially well for dinner rolls, bagels, and leftover pizza slices when you don’t want to heat them in the oven.

FREAKIN’ 2
Mr. Pibb vs Dr. Pepper

Can we tell a difference and choose a favorite?

My latest Freakin’ 2 vlog includes the typical ramblings and scenes of my day, and it includes a segment in which I sit down with my son to see if we can tell the difference between Mr. Pibb and Dr. Pepper, and if we can choose a favorite. In the end, Brandon didn’t want to pick between them, but I did!

Car Gadgets, Part 3 (2021)

One of these gadgets is still in use!

Exactly five years ago today I tested out a collection of car gadgets, including the Stupid Car Tray, Umbrella Shade, Windshield Wow, Car Cache, and Supervizor XT. All of these remained in my car for a while, but my son still uses the Stupid Car Tray to this day. Check out the video at the link below to see how these gadgets stacked up.

SHORT SPOTLIGHT 🎥
Salad Sling

Today’s Short Spotlight is the Salad Sling, a Shark Tank product that allows you to dry your greens with a quick spin around your head.

If you saw my original review, check out the Short here for a refresher.

If you never caught the original back in 2021, you can see the full review here.

It has been an adjustment for me to produce only one video a week, but so far I’ve been happy with the results. I get to spend more time focused on the products I review, plus it frees up time to spend more time with family and pets, and to vlog over on Freakin’ 2. I hope you have been taking some time for yourself this year as well. Time goes quickly and it’s easy to get trapped in the grind. Sometimes the grind can’t be avoided, but even taking a little time to yourself can make a big difference.

Until next time,
James
