After a string of one-product reviews, I thought it was time for an old-school collection of strange kitchen gadgets, and I found an interesting batch this week. From a peelable plate to a popcorn bowl designed by a dentist to a garlic chopper that looks like a yo-yo, it’s a fun group of products, and some are even useful!

NEW VIDEO ALERT 📽️
Peeling Plates, Teeth-Saving Bowls, and More!

They may be strange… but do they work?

This week’s video is a kitchen gadget roundup featuring five products that are all a little unusual in their own way. I tested Peel Plate, which lets you peel away the mess after each meal, a rolling garlic chopper called the GarlicZoom, a popcorn bowl designed to catch unpopped kernels, and two different cherry pitters to see if the expensive one was really better than the cheap one. There were a couple of surprises in this batch, especially the peelable plates and the cherry pitter comparison.

Surgery Recovery Starts Before Surgery

Many patients prepare extensively for the procedure itself — but recovery preparation often gets overlooked.

Healing increases demand for nutrients involved in tissue repair, immune support, collagen production, and recovery. HealFast was designed specifically to support the body before and after surgery with physician-formulated nutritional support created for the recovery process.

Instead of scrambling afterward, many patients now prepare for recovery before surgery even happens.

Because supporting recovery starts long before the procedure is over.

DEALS 🏷️
Anker Power Bank: 29% Off

Not all power banks are created equal. This 25,000 mAh charger from Anker has enough muscle to even power a laptop, and plenty of juice for up to four devices at once. It comes at a premium price, but the current cost is at the lowest end of its range over the past several months.

Mosquito Trap: 13% Off

I’ve been dealing with mosquitoes here in Vegas over the past couple of years, so anything that can minimize those pests will immediately grab my attention. This trap is designed to reduce all sorts of flying bugs, including mosquitoes.

Ninja FrostVault: 20% Off

If you’re thinking ahead to your summer plans, you may want to give the Ninja FrostVault a look. This upgraded wheeled model is currently 20% off its usual price. It includes a dry storage drawer so you won’t have to deal with soggy, dripping food on your camping trip.

Kitchen Tip: Keep a “use soon” bin in the fridge

One easy way to cut down on wasted food is to keep a small bin or section in your fridge labeled “use soon.” Put half-used onions, opened packages, leftovers, aging fruit, or anything close to expiring in that one spot. It makes it much easier to see what needs attention before you start cooking or shopping, and it can also inspire quick meals from ingredients you might otherwise forget about.

FREAKIN’ 2
10 Taste Tests

Can my stomach handle all of this?

Earlier this week I posted my latest Freakin’ 2 video in which I tested a variety of different foods and drinks that have been on my radar. These include three flavors of Lay’s, an energy drink by Ghost, two new Taco Bell items, a novelty alien sucker sold at Las Vegas gift shops, and a few other random items.

ON THIS DATE 🗓️
Tiny TV 2 (2024)

You may need some reading glasses for this one…

It was 2 years ago today that I tested out the cute and slightly strange “Tiny TV” which is a one-inch “television” that will display videos on its miniscule screen. To be fair, it’s not a TV in the sense that it picks up channels. It is in reality a very small video player, but a pretty interesting novelty piece, which I’ve had on display ever since my review two years ago.

Well that’s about it for this week. I hope you enjoy my latest video, and maybe even a few old ones, too! It’s about time for Father’s Day, summer gadgets, and maybe even something beach or pool related. It’s my favorite time of year to test out products and I look forward to what’s in store over the next few months.

Until next time,
James
