New Video Alert: Bailey vs. the #1 Dog Pool on Amazon
Also inside: a household hack, summer deals, and a throwback to 2017

I’ve got a bit of everything in today’s update: a full review of the most popular dog pool on Amazon (with Bailey and Bolt as test subjects), a flashback to the early days of the channel, a household tip for surviving bug season, and a few deals I didn’t want to let slip by. Also, if you missed this week’s vlog, it’s breaking news. Sort of.
Let’s jump in…
NEW VIDEO ALERT 📽️
Bailey’s Backyard Pool Test!
This week, I got my hands on the #1 Best Selling dog pool on Amazon to see if it actually lives up to the hype. I set it up, filled it up, and let Bailey take the first dip (spoiler: she had mixed feelings). I even ended up in the pool myself, all in the name of thorough testing.
If you’ve ever wondered whether one of these foldable pools is worth it for your dog (or even your kids), you’ll want to see how this one held up, and whether it sprang a leak.
DEALS 🏷️
Solar Lantern: 32% Off

I reviewed this one for members last year and found it a little tricky to test at the time. But over the past year, it’s become a favorite. You can even spot it (or at least its glow) at the end of many of my daily vlogs.
The battery life is some of the best I’ve seen, and the solar charging actually works, unlike a lot of “solar” lights out there. At 32% off, it’s a solid buy if you’re looking for a reliable, portable outdoor light.
🔋 Rechargeable Battery Set – 53% Off
I’ve been watching this one for a while and finally picked it up myself. It usually runs in the mid-to-low $20s, but right now it’s only $14, which is a great deal if you have remotes, gadgets, or devices that burn through batteries. This could be your gateway into the rechargeable battery world.
💦 Splash Pad Sprinkler – 67% Off
After testing that dog pool, I ended up browsing water-related gadgets and stumbled on this splash pad, which is down from its usual $90–$120 range to just $40. If you’re prepping for summer fun with the kids (or want to impress your dog), this might be one to bookmark. A huge discount on something that looks like backyard chaos in the best way.
🐜 Quick Tip: Easy Relief for Bug Bites
Got an itchy bug bite? Try this simple trick: press a warm spoon (run under hot water, then dried) gently against the bite for 30 seconds. The heat can help neutralize the proteins in the bite that cause itching and inflammation.
It won’t cure it, but it can give you some quick relief, especially if you're filming outside and getting swarmed like I often do. I once visited Washington DC and was eaten alive while looking at the White House. This “warm spoon” technique was a life saver!
ON THIS DATE 🗓️
Solar Juice Pro (2017)
I had to dig deep into the archives to find another video posted on June 1, and it takes us all the way back to 2017. That’s when I tested the Solar Juice Pro, an As Seen on TV gadget that was being heavily advertised at the time.
The product itself is long gone, but if you're curious to see a snapshot of the early Freakin’ Reviews era (and a prime example of late-2010s infomercial hype) this one’s worth a quick watch.
LATEST VLOG 📰
“BREAKING NEWS” (Vlog 11)
In my latest vlog, I tackle the important headlines you didn’t know you needed, like Bailey’s new pool, the mysterious case of the random phone call friends, and a few updates from behind the scenes here at Freakin’ Reviews HQ.
It’s part vlog, part day-in-the-life, and part mini comedy sketch, with just enough chaos to qualify as “newsworthy.”
That’s about it for now. I want to thank all of you for your support, whether you’ve been here since the beginning or if you’re new to my YouTube channel. It’s been a fun ride and I feel like I’m just getting started. Also a quick reminder than I’m doing daily posts throughout June (5 public, 2 members), but I’m only sending newsletters to announce my two reviews per week. Wishing you a great June, and I’ll see you in the next video!
