They Used My Photo in an Ad... So I Reviewed Their Product!

Today’s newsletter kicks off with a product I didn’t plan on reviewing… until they used a screenshot from one of my old videos in their ad! So I ordered the ChillWell 2.0 to see if it actually deserved the hype (spoiler: not really). I’ve also got a throwback from two years ago, a Facebook video that’s making the rounds again, and a couple of solid deals, including one for a pan I still use years later.

The folks behind the ChillWell 2.0 decided to use a screenshot from one of my videos in their advertising, despite the fact that I’ve never reviewed the ChillWell… until now. So I did what any reviewer would do: I ordered it myself to see if it lives up to the hype (spoiler: it doesn't).

I put it head-to-head with one of the old Arctic Air units and let's just say the results were not what they were hoping for. If you’ve ever wondered whether these $90 “deluxe coolers” are any better than the $30 versions on Amazon, this one’s for you.

Stick It Roller (2023)

Two years ago today, I tested out the Stick It Roller after spotting it in one of those viral Instagram videos. It immediately reminded me of the classic Sticky Buddy… remember that one? So naturally, I had to see how this new version stacked up. If you missed that review the first time around, it still holds up in 2025. Definitely worth a rewatch if you're a fan of quirky cleaning gadgets (or nostalgia).
