New Video Alert: Gadgets to Level Up Your Breakfast?
From waffle bowls to an egg slicer, I put two kitchen tools to the test.

This week I put a couple of kitchen gadgets to the test that go “beyond breakfast.” One of them makes edible waffle bowls (and in my case, ice cream for breakfast actually happened), and the other promises to slice, dice, and wedge your eggs with ease. Add in some fresh deals and a fun look back at a past review, and there’s plenty to dig into today’s update.
NEW VIDEO ALERT 📽️
Egg Slicer & Waffle Bowl Maker Put to the Test!
This week I tried out not one, but two kitchen gadgets that claim to make life easier (and maybe a little more fun).
First up is the Presto Waffle Bowl Maker. At $39.99, it promises perfect little waffle bowls you can fill with anything from bacon and eggs to ice cream. I ran a few rounds of batter through it (both waffle mix and cake mix) to see if it really works as advertised, and somehow found myself eating ice cream for breakfast.
Then I moved on to the Crafty Crocodile Egg Slicer. This 3-in-1 gadget can slice, wedge, or dice eggs (and even strawberries). At first, it mangled a few, but after some trial and error I figured out the trick. The question is: is it actually worth it?
Both gadgets claim to take breakfast “next level,” but do they really deliver? Watch the full video below to find out.
DEALS 🏷️
Infrared Thermometer: 23% Off

If you’ve watched even a handful of my reviews, you know I lean on this type of thermometer all the time, whether it’s checking frying pans or seeing how hot my water bottles get. This #1 Best Seller is currently 23% off, bringing it in under $20, a solid buy for something I use constantly.
Beats Solo 4: 50% Off
If you’re looking for new headphones, this popular model usually runs around $200, but right now they’re marked down to half that. Just note that the 50% off price applies only to select colors, so double-check before you click.
Blood Pressure Monitor: 44% Off
The older I get, the more I realize the value of keeping tabs on blood pressure, and I know a lot of you can relate. This model has nearly 50,000 ratings and is 44% off its usual price. I recommended it last month when it dipped into this range, but I wanted to suggest it again now that it’s back at the low end of its price range.
Breakfast Hack!
Need butter for toast or waffles but forgot to take it out? Grab a cheese grater! Grated butter softens almost instantly and spreads evenly without tearing bread.

5 Kitchen Gadgets Under $15 (2021)
Exactly four years ago today (August 21, 2021), I posted my review of 5 inexpensive kitchen gadgets under $15 that actually worked. The lineup included the Fridge Fork, Bowl Huggers, an adjustable strainer, Mighty Bamboo Towels, and Flip-It.
Fast forward to today, and I still use the Bowl Huggers all the time. I’ve even gifted them to friends and family, and they still swear by them. Hop in your DeLorean and time-travel back to 2021 to catch the review if you missed it the first time around.
That’s it for this week’s roundup! If you’ve tried either of today’s gadgets, or if you still use any of the ones I covered in my throwback section, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thank you as always for following along. I’ll be back soon with more reviews, tips, and deals.
Until next time,
James
