May is here and it’s time to start looking ahead to keeping cool. That’s where today’s video come in, as I test out a pricey $330 ice cream maker that promises soft serve with no pre-freezing, no ice, and no salt. Does it work, and is it worth the cost? I’ve also got new F2 taste tests and Amazon deals, so let’s dive in!

NEW VIDEO ALERT 📽️
A $330 Soft Serve Maker with No Pre-Freezing?

No pre-freezing, no ice, no salt… and $330?

This week I tested something intriguing, the Blizzee soft serve ice cream maker. The big selling point is that it doesn’t require any pre-freezing, which immediately caught my attention. Most soft serve machines I’ve tried require planning ahead, so the idea of just pouring in ingredients and having soft serve in 20 to 30 minutes sounded almost too good to be true.

The results, however, were a bit of a mixed bag. My first batch didn’t go well at all, but after making a few adjustments, I was able to get some really solid soft serve. I also tried a pineapple sorbet and a more advanced coffee recipe, and along the way I ran into a few quirks that you’ll definitely want to know about before spending $330 on this machine. If you’re curious whether “no pre-freezing” actually lives up to the hype, this one’s worth checking out.

Men, You've Been Misinformed

Men's skin is about 25% thicker than women's, but thicker skin doesn't mean better aging. It means delayed collapse. For years, your skin looks resilient. Then collagen declines, and when it does, it drops hard: deeper wrinkles, heavier under-eye bags, more dark spots showing up all at once.

Most men were never taught to get ahead of this. Women were. And by the time the signs show up, you're playing catch-up.

Particle Face Cream was built precisely for this. One 6-in-1 formula engineered for men's skin — reduces eye bags, dark spots, and wrinkles, restores firmness, hydrates deeply, and revives dull tone. No complicated routine. Over 1,000,000 men already use it. Try it risk-free with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Ninja Belgian Waffle Maker: 30% Off

You may recall this Ninja “vertical” waffle maker that I reviewed last September, which I thought worked quite well. I paid $100 for it but it’s currently marked down to $70, and the cheapest I’ve seen in months. It’s a true deal on a solid product.

Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker: 31% Off

If the $330 price tag on today’s reviewed item is out of your price range, but you still wouldn’t mind some homemade ice cream, check out this 2-quart ice cream maker by Cuisinart. Although you have to pre-freeze the bowl for this unit, the results end up being just about as fast, for a fraction of the cost.

Best-Selling Insoles: 42% Off

My mantra when looking for Amazon deals is: #1 Best Seller + Sale Price = Deal! These high arch support shoe inserts are the #1 Best Seller on Amazon and are currently at their lowest price in months.

Household Tip: Ice Cream Too Hard? Try This Instead of Waiting

If your ice cream is rock solid straight out of the freezer, don’t just leave it on the counter and forget about it. That usually leads to a melted outer layer and a still-frozen center.

Instead, let it sit for about 2–3 minutes, then run your scoop under hot water and dry it off before scooping. Repeat as needed. You’ll get clean, smooth scoops without turning the whole container into soup.

Bonus tip: Storing ice cream in a shallow container instead of a deep one makes it much easier to scoop later!

New Wendy’s Spring Menu Taste Test!

Wendy’s is bringing the heat with new menu items.

Earlier this week I posted my latest Freakin’ 2 video in which I tried out the new Wendy’s Spring Menu items, including three jalapeno food items and two sweet treats. In the end, I offered my rank for them all. Have you tried any of these yet?

Spiral Light Candle (2024)

Is this an improvement over traditional candles?

Two years ago today I tested out the interesting Spiral Light Candle. This clever candle burns in a circle around the top first. The wax then melts into the center, which creates a second candle. The idea is clever, but does the novelty wear off? Check out my review to see how it went.

I had fun testing out the ice cream maker in today’s video, but after several days of preparing, making, and eating ice cream - I’m kind of done with ice cream for now! If you’ve considered picking up this machine or something like it, hopefully my review today provided you with some helpful information.

Until next time,
James
