Another weekend is upon is upon us and that means it’s time for my latest review for your viewing pleasure. Today I’m back with a “single serve” product with a head-scratching price tag. There’s also a new Freakin’ 2 video this week along with fresh Amazon deals and more. Let’s dive in!
NEW VIDEO ALERT 📽️
$130 Single-Serve Cookie Oven?
I just tested a product that might be one of the most oddly specific kitchen gadgets I’ve ever seen. It’s called the Bikky, and it’s a $130 “single-serve cookie oven” designed to make exactly one cookie at a time. It’s not some obscure product I found through hours of digging online… this one was advertising on Facebook.
I gave it a full, serious test with both store-bought dough and homemade dough to see if it actually makes sense… or if this is one of those products that sounds better in theory than in reality.
Needless to say, I have some thoughts.

DEALS 🏷️
Microwave Cover: 33% Off

There are a lot of microwave splatter guards on the market, but this one checks a lot of the boxes people actually want. It has a glass cover, collapsible design, and vents on the sides. It typically runs about $36 but is currently on sale for $27.
Spin Scrubber: 27% Off
I’ve certainly tested my share of spin scrubbers, but this is the #1 Best Seller on Amazon and is currently selling for just over $20. Ten years ago, you couldn’t get a spin scrubber for under $40, so this is certainly a solid deal.
Packing Cubes: 33% Off
This is the same brand of packing cubes that I tested out (review here) way back in 2018 when I went to Hawaii and Australia. They’re currently marked down by about $10 (depending on your color choice), and Amazon notes customers usually keep this item.
Cookie Tips!
Use Parchment for Easy Cookie Wins! If you’re baking cookies in a toaster oven, always use parchment paper. It prevents sticking, promotes more even browning, and makes cleanup almost nonexistent. Just make sure it’s trimmed to fit so it doesn’t touch the heating elements.
Chill Dough for Better Cookies. If your cookies are spreading too much, pop the dough in the fridge for 30–60 minutes before baking. Chilled dough holds its shape better and often gives you thicker, chewier cookies with better texture.
Preheat Even If It’s “Optional.” Some small appliances say no preheating needed, but you’ll usually get better results if you do it anyway. A properly heated oven helps cookies cook more evenly and avoids underdone centers.
Don’t Trust the Timer. Toaster ovens can vary a lot, even on the same setting. Instead of relying strictly on time, keep an eye on visual cues like golden edges and a slightly soft center. That’s usually your sweet spot.
FREAKIN’ 2
Freeze-Dried Pizza? (Vlog 80)
Earlier this week I posted my latest Freakin’ 2 video, which is the usual part-vlog and part-taste test. In the taste test portions of the video, I test out a couple of pizza-flavored snacks, along with an actual slice of pizza that was freeze-dried. I’m not ready to give up the real thing for any of these, but they were fun to try.
ON THIS DATE 🗓️
Useful Amazon Gadgets (2021)
Four years ago this week I posted a collection of 6 cheap gadgets from Amazon, all under $10. This collection included the “Pop-the-Top” bottle opener, sofa drink holder, knife brush, shoelaces, an egg timer, and can topper. I probably used the bottle opener and knife brush the longest out of this bunch. If you never saw this review, it’s still worth checking out.
SHORT SPOTLIGHT 🎥
Skinny Lights

Today’s Short Spotlight features a rare short that I created a while back for two “skinny” lights that I never actually reviewed.
One is a lighted coaster, while the other is an interesting pop-up light bulb. It’s an interesting look at two items I picked up but never actually made it into a review.
That’s about it for this week. I hope you enjoy today’s video, and my F2 vlog if end up checking that one out, too. I’ve just received my order for my next video, which is a comparison video that will take me out into the desert heat… one of my favorite things to do! Stay tuned for that.
Until next time,
James
