Best of 2025!

Which 10 Products Made My Year-End Countdown?

In partnership with

My latest video is online and it’s my coveted Best of 2025! Which products among the hundreds I tested made the Top 10 this year? Today I offer my picks for the best products I tried in 2025 (not necessarily new in 2025, but new to me) and discuss why they stood out above the rest. I also have some fresh deals and an appropriate flashback to this date last year.

Let’s dive in!

Best of 2025

Which products made the cut this year?

It’s that time again! This is the moment when I look back at the roughly 200 products I reviewed this year and highlight the ones that truly stood out. As always, there are a few surprises mixed in with some clear front-runners. Choosing the top spot was especially tough this time because the competition was stacked. In the end, though, I’m really happy with this lineup, and every product earned its place on my countdown.

Is this the cutest heating pad ever?

Meet the Menstruation Crustacean—the microwaveable, ultra-soothing lobster heating pad that brings major comfort and a little comic relief. Just pop this plush crustacean in the microwave and let its warm weight melt away period cramps, backaches, or any random aches life throws at you. Plus, it features a soothing lavender scent to boost your mood when it’s that time of the month. This little guy is hilarious and functional – the perfect Secret Santa gift or stocking stuffer for this holiday season! Check out the rest of the Menstruation Crustacean gang, too.

DEALS 🏷️
Gotham Steel Set: 47% Off

If you’ve been with my channel for a while, you might remember that many of my early videos focused on As Seen on TV products. One of the standouts from that era was the Gotham Steel Pasta Pot I reviewed in 2017, which has barely aged since then! So when I saw this cookware set marked down from $150 to $80, it immediately struck me as a worthwhile pick. Prices vary by color, but overall this is a solid deal.

HyperChiller: 50% Off
I reviewed the HyperChiller for channel members in 2024 and found that it not only worked, but I kept using it long after the review, especially when I wanted a quick cup of ice coffee. It’s currently half off, making it an easy recommendation.

Boomerang Speaker: 40% Off
The Monster Boomerang Speaker is something I tried earlier this year (review here), and it’s an interesting hybrid. It behaves a bit like headphones since the sound stays close to you with great separation, but it also feels like using speakers because nothing sits in or on your ears. I’ve found it perfect for watching YouTube at night when I don’t want headphones on but still want the audio nearby. Its price tends to fluctuate a lot, but right now it’s at the low end of that range.

Cold Hands Tip
If you ever need to warm up your hands fast, skip the hot water because it actually makes your skin feel colder a few minutes later. Instead, rub your hands together for 20–30 seconds and then slip them under your armpits or against your stomach. Your core holds the most stable heat in your body, so using it as a “radiator” warms your hands much faster and keeps them warm longer.

Do you remember my favorites from last year?

It’s fitting that today’s flashback takes us exactly one year back to when I posted my Best of 2024 countdown. If this year’s list leaves you wanting more, it’s a perfect time to revisit that video and refresh your memory on the products that made the cut last year. A lot of those items are still in my regular rotation around the house, and they’re still great gift ideas.

I hope you enjoyed my Best of 2025 countdown as much as I enjoyed making it. Later this week I’ll be putting out the flipside to today’s video with my Worst of 2025. Before we know it, Christmas will come and go and we’ll be looking at a brand-new year. I hope you can enjoy the holiday season before we blink and it’s over!

Until next time,
James
