It’s that time again! Today I released my 8th annual Best of the Year countdown! I went back over the nearly 200 products I reviewed in 2024, and compiled a list of my picks for the best of the bunch. There are also a couple of Honorable Mentions that didn’t quite make the list on technicalities.

And while we’re flashing back to 2024, keep in mind that my Worst of 2024 is just around the corner, too! But let’s begin on a positive note with my picks for the 10 best products I reviewed in 2024.

Hexclad: 20% Off

It’s hard to believe it’s been 5 years since I first reviewed the HexClad pan. I was on the fence at first, but after half a decade of use, I can confidently say it’s a true workhorse, and the only pan I’ve ever owned that can take a real beating and still perform like new. In 2022, I even pitted it against an Emeril pan using a hand mixer. The Emeril pan was mangled, but the HexClad came out unscathed!

Right now, most HexClad products are marked down 20% on Amazon, so it’s a great time to grab one. Yes, they’re on the pricey side, but they’re the only pans I’ve reviewed that don’t need babying to stand the test of time.

Inspirex Toaster: 30% Off

I reviewed this smart toaster in June 2024 and found that it worked pretty well. My biggest gripe was the $100 price tag. It’s currently marked down to about $70, which feels like a more appropriate price. I still use this one and it has held up so far. If you’re looking for a smart toaster, this price is hard to beat. JoGo Brew Straw: 26% Off

This was one of the more unusual and surprising products I’ve tried in recent years. It’s a filtered straw that allows you to dump coffee grounds into a cup of hot water, yet drink ground-free coffee. It’s currently the cheapest I’ve seen it in over a month, so now is a good time to try it out if you’ve been curious.

Prevent cutting board slips: Place a damp paper towel or cloth underneath your cutting board to keep it steady while you chop.

It’s hard to believe it was three years ago this week that I posted my review of the Ninja Creami. That video still gets a steady stream of views, even three years after the fact. Three Tips for Wiser Shopping

Avoid Flashy 'Limited Time' Offers. These are often designed to pressure you into quick decisions. Take a moment to research first. When I use the Keepa or Microsoft Shopping extensions, I’ll often find that these “limited time deals” are the most common price over time!

Watch for Lookalikes. Some sellers use copycat names or logos to mimic trusted brands—always double-check the manufacturer.

Abandon Your Cart (On Purpose). Add items to your cart but don’t check out right away. Many retailers will email you a discount code to close the sale.
