I remember back in the day when I used to check Facebook to see what my friends and family were up to. Now that Facebook has been inundated with ads and unrelated content, I typically only check it to see what new gadgets are being advertised, and that’s what prompted this video. I also have a new F2 video from earlier in the week and fresh Amazon deals. Let’s dive in!

Most people complain about the ads on Facebook - rightfully so - but it’s also a treasure trove of new products on the market. So today I celebrate the goldmine that is Facebook advertising by offering up my honest reviews of three products I’ve seen relentlessly advertising on there recently: Underdog Glasses, a face ice bath bowl, and SnakJak.

Back in 2022, I compared several popular waffle makers, including an older version of this Bella Belgian Waffle Maker, which I really enjoyed. This model has consistently sold for around $36 over the past few months, and has even topped $40 at times, so today’s sale price of $26 is a genuine deal. If you love Belgian waffles, this one is worth considering.

Here’s another newer version of a product I tested years ago. Back in 2019, I compared an older Contigo model with a 1977 Ronco water bottle, and I was a fan of the Contigo. This newer version is currently nearly half off, selling for $16 instead of its usual price of around $28. If you’ve been thinking about taking the Contigo plunge, this is a great time to do it.

You may remember my review of the single Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker, but I have also owned this dual model, and it works great. If you love breakfast sandwiches and making just one at a time is not enough, this version is worth a look. It is currently marked down to $33 from a usual high of around $50.

Half-empty chip bags are an easy way to end up with stale snacks and crushed crumbs. After opening a bag, squeeze out as much air as you can, fold the top over a couple of times, and secure it with a binder clip or chip clip. For snacks you don’t expect to finish soon, put the clipped bag inside a large airtight container in the pantry. It takes up a little extra space, but it helps keep everything fresher and protects fragile chips from getting smashed.

Over on Freakin’ 2, my 95th vlog was posted earlier this week. It’s a blend of random Gen-X thoughts and taste tests of items including Mr. Bubble soda and Guinness ice cream. There’s also a new energy drink that gives you a “floating” feeling? Now THAT is something I had to try for myself…

Exactly five years ago today I tested out a collection of unusual lamps, including some found on Amazon as well as lamps being advertised at the time. If you look closely, you’ll discover that two of the lamps in this video have become a permanent part of my studio where I film all of my videos!
