Carbonating Bottles, Giant Oreos & Big Savings!

Fizz on demand, fast food surprises, and Amazon deals!

I hope you're having a great week! I’ve got a couple of fun updates for you, including TWO brand-new reviews, a nostalgic throwback, and some great Amazon deals you won’t want to miss. This week, I put the Aerflo AER1 System to the test to see if this $89 carbonation bottle is worth it. Plus, over on Freakin’ 2, I took on Subway’s Footlong Oreo Cookie and the new Dr. Pepper Blackberry, with some interesting results!

And, of course, I’ve rounded up a few Amazon deals, including bone conduction headphones, a surprisingly handy egg cracker, and a massively discounted Dutch oven.

Let’s jump in! 👇

NEW VIDEO ALERT 📽️
$89 For Sparkling Water?

Can a love of carbonated water justify an $89 price tag?

My latest video is live! 🎥✨

This time, I’m testing a portable carbonation system that claims to turn plain water into sparkling water - anytime, anywhere! But is the AER1 System by Aerflo really worth the $89 price tag? 💰 Let’s find out!

💨 Aerflo AER1 System: A sleek, travel-friendly bottle that carbonates water on demand. But does it actually work, and can it replace store-bought sparkling water? 🤔

I put it to the test, trying different carbonation levels, experimenting with flavors (even though they say not to), and pushing the CO₂ capsules to their limits. Did it pass the test or fizzle out?

NEW FREAKIN’ 2 📽️
Subway’s Footlong Oreo & New Dr. Pepper!

How accurate are these new flavors?

New Taste Test on Freakin' 2! 🍪🥤

This week over on Freakin’ 2, I took on two new releases in the world of fast food and soda, but do they live up to the hype? 🤔

🍫 Subway’s Footlong Oreo Cookie: A massive take on a classic treat, but does it actually taste like an Oreo… or something else entirely? 😬

🫐 Dr. Pepper Blackberry: A fruity twist on a classic soda, but how accurate is the flavor? I put it to the ultimate test by eating real blackberries while drinking regular Dr. Pepper to compare. Did it hold up?

DEALS 🏷️
🎧Shokz OpenRun: 15% Off

If over-ear headphones feel too isolating and in-ear buds aren’t your thing, bone conduction headphones might be the perfect alternative. The Shokz OpenRun let you enjoy music and podcasts while staying aware of your surroundings, making them great for walks or outdoor workouts. I still use mine all the time! At $15 off, this is the lowest price I’ve seen in at least a month. If you’d like to see these in action, check out my review from 2023.

🥚 Crack ‘em – 17% Off

This quirky gadget falls into the “useful but not necessary” category—yet I find myself using it regularly! While it doubles as a spoon rest and egg cracker, I only use it for the latter. Sure, most people crack eggs just fine on a pan or counter, but this gives a perfectly clean break every time. At 17% off, it’s the lowest price I’ve seen this year. Watch my review from last fall if you’d like to see me using it.

🔥 Cast Iron Dutch Oven – 68% Off

This huge discount won’t last long! Normally around $70, this pre-seasoned cast iron Dutch oven is currently just over $20, which is an absolute steal. While Dutch ovens are often associated with outdoor cooking, I’ve used mine in the kitchen plenty of times. If you’ve ever considered grabbing one, this is the deal to jump on!

ON THIS DATE 🗓️
Battle Vision & Tac Night (2018)

Let’s go back to 2018 for a review of As Seen on TV sunglasses!

Today’s flashback takes us seven years into the past, back to a time when the As Seen on TV industry was cranking out gimmicky sunglasses left and right! 😆

On this date in 2018, I posted a double review featuring the Battle Vision and Tac Night glasses, two of the many “miracle” eyewear products promising enhanced vision, glare reduction, and night-driving improvements. 🚗💡

While these glasses have essentially faded into obscurity, it’s always fun to look back at their bold claims and see how they actually performed in my tests. Did they live up to the hype, or were they just another flashy TV gimmick?

SMART SHOPPING 🛒
Three Tips for Wiser Shopping

Don’t Overlook the Clearance Section! Retailers often bury clearance items in less obvious parts of their websites or stores. Look for terms like 'Last Chance,' 'Outlet,' or 'Final Sale.' This is where you can score deals on end-of-season items or discontinued models at significant discounts. It’s almost like they don’t want you to find it!

Research Store Credit Cards Carefully. While store credit cards often come with enticing perks like discounts or exclusive deals, watch out for high-interest rates. If you’re confident you can pay off the balance monthly, they can be a smart way to save on large purchases.

Time Your Big Purchases Around Holidays. Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Prime Day, and Labor Day sales are ideal for electronics, appliances, and furniture.

That’s all for this update! Whether you’re into DIY carbonation, fast food taste tests, or just looking for a good deal, I hope you found something interesting this week. Have you tried the Aerflo bottle, the Footlong Oreo, or the new Dr. Pepper? Let me know what you think!

As always, thanks for reading and for being part of the Freakin’ Reviews community. I appreciate your support, and I’ll see you in the next one!

Until next time,
