Sometimes trying to figure out my next review can be a challenge. The idea for today’s review of car gadgets came to me while… in the car! Fortunately I was able to amass a nice variety of products from useful and strange, to popular and obscure. I’ve also got a new F2 taste test, Amazon finds, and more.

Today I just posted my seventh car gadget video, and the first since late 2023. This collection is meant to include gadgets to stimulate all your senses: a vanity mirror for sight, headrest fan for touch, a car cymbal for sound, and a wooden air freshener for smells.

The variety of gadgets is pretty wide, too, from the #1 Best Selling automotive product on Amazon to a bizarre novelty item that has no practical use. It’s a fun collection spanning over 20 minutes, so grab some popcorn and settle in as we dive into another round of car gadgets.

This portable cleaner by Dirt Devil is the lowest price I’ve seen it in months. It can cost as high as $110 but it’s currently about $50. This is ideal for pet stains, spot cleaning, and upholstery. It’s an alternative to the Bissell Little Green Mini cleaner, which usually runs about $100.

With May on the horizon, it’s time to dust off that grill and start the long grilling season. Why not give yourself a little upgrade with this electric grill brush? It’s rechargeable and offers 20kg max torque for hardcore cleaning.

I’m a fan of Gorilla Grip products and this can opener is currently marked down to about half its normal price. If you’re in the market for a can opener, this may be a hard price to beat with a brand name.

If your car has been sitting in the sun, instead of immediately cranking the A/C, try this… Open the passenger-side window and then open and close the driver-side door 5–10 times. It sounds strange, but some people swear that it “pumps” a lot of the hot air out of the cabin in seconds.

Once you get in, roll all windows down and drive for a minute before turning on the A/C. It helps the system cool the car faster and reduces strain on your A/C.

Over on Freakin’ 2, I just posted my latest vlog and taste test. In this video, I tried out five bags of chips from known brands, but with flavors you won’t find here in the states. You may have heard of Doritos, Cheetos, and Lay’s, but how about flavors such as Garlic Prawn, Butter Corn, or Garlic Steak? It was a bizarre selection of snacks and I had a lot of fun trying them out.
