Welcome to my first mid-week email. This is where I’ll drop in with a few products I actually use and recommend, without doing a full deep dive.

Today it’s all about the best fry pans I’ve tried over the years.

I’ve tested a lot of fry pans in my nearly 10 years on YouTube. Just off the top of my head: Red Copper, Blue Diamond, Granite Rock, HexClad, Granitestone Pro, Always Pan, Ninja Foodi NeverStick, Emeril Forever Pan, a random mini pan from Marshalls, Caraway, Martha Stewart, Sensarte… and that’s not even counting specialty stuff like brownie or pancake pans.

So which ones stuck?

Here are 3 I still use, years later, in no particular order.

HexClad - 7 Years

This is one of the oldest pans I’ve reviewed, and it’s still going strong after about 7 years. I even did a 6-year update on it just to show how well it held up.

It’s heavy (closer to cast iron than a typical nonstick), and I’ve cleaned it with steel wool without damaging it. That alone tells you something. There’s a reason you see so many copycats now.

You’re 28 days away from firmer, glowier skin.

Aramore’s MIT & Harvard co-founders developed a special complex to help boost back skin’s NAD+, the molecule that controls how we age. Best part: you’ll see results in just one skin cycle, or 28 days.

Ninja Foodi NeverStick - 5 Years

If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I generally like Ninja products (with one notable exception). This pan is a good example of why.

I tested it back in April 2021, so mine is about 5 years old now, and it’s held up quite well. You can usually find it in the $30–$40 range now in stores such as Walmart, or in sets on Amazon.

Relevant Info:

Sensarte - 2 Years

This is the newest pan of this group, but it’s still been about 2 years, which is enough time to know if a pan is going to hold up or not… and it has.

It heats evenly, has a comfortable handle, and it’s PFOA-free. It’s also one of the more affordable options. I’ve had a couple of friends pick this up after my review, and they’ve told me they’ve had the same experience.

Relevant Info:

Quick note: Granitestone Pro probably would have made this list, but it’s gotten harder to find on its own. It seems like it’s mostly sold in sets now, and I’m not sure if the current version is the same as the one I tested. I still use mine, though.

If you’re in the market for a fry pan, I’d start with one of these. They’ve all held up for years for me, which is really the main thing I look for at this point.

I hope you enjoy this midweek recommendation. I’m often asked for my favorites among the thousands of products I’ve tested, so I’m hoping these quick picks are useful to some of you.

Until next time…
James
